About

I'm Amanda Peery-Wolf, a poet living in New York City. I write poems because when I don't write poems one of my ears gets itchy and I have nightmares. So I write poems to calm my spirits and quiet my dreams.

Credentials-wise, I won the 2020 Iowa Review Award for Poetry, and my work has been published in the North American Review, the Harvard Review, Bodega Magazine, the Colorado Review, Spoon River Poetry Review, and other wonderful places that still publish poetry in this day & age. I've performed poetry at/with the Bowery Poetry Club, the Inspired Word, and the Poetry Brothel. In the distant past, I was awarded the LeBaron Russell Briggs traveling fellowship for poetry from Harvard University.

I hope a poem I wrote, or a small part of a poem I wrote, might mean something to you or make a difference in your day.
